A: Leisure Therapy is; person centered, specialized activities to improve dimensions of well – being, which are; physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual. Some examples are, seated exercises, brain games such as, finish the proverb, and music therapy. Julie does a personalized assessment and life story form and learns the clients interests and needs and creates a plan of meaningful and enjoyable activities.

Q: What are some of the activities that Julie can do with my Dad?
A: Some of the activities that Julie can provide are:
– Take him grocery shopping
– Play brain games (such as a fishing quiz)
– Arrange and take him to appointments
– Cut his hair
– Design and facilitate an exercise program
